Our federation of schools is committed to providing excellence in education. Our aim is for children to leave for the next stage of their education with the confidence and aptitude to make their own valuable contribution to the community, for staff to recognise their contribution to this development of children and parents to genuinely support their son or daughter's education.
At Broadlands we aim to provide an inclusive, caring and supportive environment which has high expectations and values all members of our school community. We recognise and respect the needs and aspirations of individuals and provide opportunities for them all to make the best possible progress and attain the highest personal academic achievements.

In DT Leopards have been looking at seasonal vegetables and chose 4 recipes to make. In teams they prepared, chopped, grated and sliced the ingredients. The 4 soups cooked throughout the day and they got to taste them all. They were delicious! #BLANDSdt #eattheseasons #seasonal https://t.co/oZyupt0k8p

Leopards have had the most amazing time learning how to skateboard and learning new tricks. Lots of teamwork and reassurance from their friends resulted in huge smiles and a new found confidence. Thank you Team Rubicon #skateboarding #proudBLANDS #BLANDSpe #teamrubicon https://t.co/sYHdDzKrML

In Science this week Leopards looked mammalian characteristics. There was lots of good discussion and some excellent reasoning as to what group an animal would belong to. This was especially so for a dolphin! Is it a mammal or a fish? #BLANDSscience https://t.co/r3RU5r1pnO

On Friday, Year 4/5 and 6 meet Bernard and Francis from Three Counties Liberal Jewish Community - 3CLJC who spoke to us about their culture, traditions and faith. Using artefacts, they helped us to understand Judaism and how it's represented today. #BLANDSre #ProudBLANDS https://t.co/CqWTE59x97

Tigers enjoyed listening to their visitors who told them all about Judaism. They even got to look at some special objects that they have in their homes. #BLANDSre https://t.co/vSxWo0o5Eu

Tiger class enjoyed their Reading Comprehension lesson this morning. A mystery bag arrived and the children had to look at each object and make inferences about who the items could belong to and why. It was a...Police officer. PC Jarrett... (Miss Jarrett's dad!) #BLANDSreading https://t.co/uAqy5wtCOU
