Snapshot into the Learning in EYFS

 

The EYFS at Broadlands Primary School consists of our 2 and 3-year-old place Nursery and single-form Reception Class.

At Broadlands Primary School we place great value on the development of children as individuals and providing them with the skills, knowledge and understanding they need to prepare them for the challenges in key stage one and beyond, supporting life long learners that are successful in all avenues of their future. 

Nursery

Our nursery is open Monday to Friday, operating during the same term times as the school. We offer care and education for children aged between 2 and 5 years which can be booked using funded hours or payment via ParentPay.

We have an inviting indoor provision which offers well resourced areas of learning, this is complimented with our spacious outdoor area that includes physically challenging and creative play areas. The children have many opportunities to explore and play in a safe and stimulating learning environment, well-equipped with a variety of high quality resources that cater for the emotional, social, physical and creative needs of every child.
